Why Or Why Not You Should Be A Video Game Tester
Written by John Platt on August 1, 2009 – 12:06 pm -by John Platt When people tend to think of video game testing as a career they think, oh it must be easy and fun so I’ll give it a try and just live for years on a steady income. What they need to realize is that it’s not as clear cut and simple as that, so when you decide to embark on a quest to discover if this is true or not, first keep in mind these simple instructions. Video games need to be developed in stages for a reason. The main two testing stages are called alpha and beta. While alpha is mainly done by the company and is for major bugs that make it so you can’t play the game at all, beta is for refinement and is when you come in as a tester. When the game is in a beta stage there are only a few things missing, maybe... more

The Ultimate Wow Guide - Independent Review Here!
Written by Charles Peterson on July 24, 2009 – 4:35 am -by Charles Peterson When it comes to guides that teach players of World of Warcraft everything they ought to know about the game, nobody does it like Dugi does in his Ultimate WOW Guide. Whether its about leveling you character up to level 80, accumulating all the gold you need or taking on other WoW players in PvP, the Ultimate WoW Guide covers it all as long as its part of the World of Warcraft. While everyone can, theoretically, make his way around the World of Warcraft alone, Dugi teachers its readers the most efficient way of leveling up so that they can get to level 80 consuming as little time as possible. The guide is intended to literally shave off months and months of gaming time spent leveling from 1-60 in the game, 60-70 in the Burning... more

Video Games - Selecting Your Console
Written by Anne Torres on July 23, 2009 – 4:21 am -by Anne Torres Video games have never been as hot as they are now after practically four decades since the first Magnavox Odyssey in 1972. The Atari generation came next and garnered wild success as it worked in tandem with Sears stores where their gaming consoles were sold. Soon after, The Odyssey simply vanished. Many companies tried but failed to compete with Atari which controlled the market until 1983 when personal computers became more affordable and offered better games. Then came the Japanese who took over with their Nintendo and Sega series until the mid-1990’s when cartridges became history and DVD’s ruled with a guarantee of longer, richer, and more difficult video games. Today’s market is ripe with the best video... more

The Ultimate Wow Guide Review - Read the Truth Here
Written by Charles Peterson on July 23, 2009 – 3:23 am -by Charles Peterson Among the most significant portions of the Ultimate World of Warcraft Guide include the character leveling guide, gold gathering and equipment finding guide, and the strategy guide for PvP. But generally, the Ultimate WoW Guide is a compilation of comprehensive guides from Dugi which cover everything in the game, except that the said portions can be bought separately to make it easier for most players to afford. Speed leveling is the main goal of the character leveling guide, which puts players through a leveling program that has been tried and proven to work by Dugi himself. Players who read the guide will be able to take themselves from level 1 to level 60, 70, in the Burning Crusade and then 80 in the Wrath of the Lich... more

Everyday, many people are looking up terms like “legal iPod music downloads” at Google, trying to find places where they can get these for somewhat lesser than what they are paying at the iTunes website. Excite Truck - Great Wii Experience
Written by Patrick Daniels on May 30, 2009 – 2:46 am -by Patrick Daniels Excite Truck is a racing game made for the Wii. Of the many racing games available for the major home consoles this one is the best. I don’t need all the racing sims, the arcade racer is more my style. I love the Playstation 3 game Burnout Paradise and Excite Truck is an arcade type racer although not quite as pretty. For all the limitations from the lack of power from the Wii, the developers have done a great job of creating a sense of speed in the game. Though the tracks are limited in number, there are different challenges for each level. The real fun comes from challenging a friend in split screen mode. It is a classic way to play a fun arcade racing game. On this Wii game you turn the remote sideways like... more
